An AJ Top 10 and a multi disciplinary consultancy with a very strong background in Higher Education, in particular universities is looking for a leader to join them.
Unlike many similar companies, (we all know the one that begins C and ends is A) Architecture is becoming more and more central to this business as a discipline that leads the development of every other department.
The background, the experience to do HE / FE is there. The doors are open at the institutions themselves. It just needs an experienced senior management level Architect to lead and maximise the development and management of these clients. You should already know who the players are around Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Leeds and beyond.
You'll also make sure the team is delivering, and have the gravitas to recognise and put a stop any mistakes, bad practice or under performance.
The practice is moving towards a more front end model in general. So as well as being able to talk and speak at the same level as industry executives about Higher and Further Education, you need to be able to design, maybe you won't do the drawings yourself, but you will be able to review, lead amendments and design details.
