If you've remotely considered diversifying your skill set then this is a brilliant opportunity to do so.

Principal Designers - the old CDM-C. There aren't many of them around, but there's a growing demand.

There is an Architectural Practice in Lancashire (Nr Burnley) that are looking for an Architectural Technician or an Architect that might be interested in doing a 50/50 split role.

You don't need experience. They will pay the thousands necessary to get you fully qualified and give you experience.
You will still work on detailed drawing packages, visit site, get involved with planning applications and everything else a Technician does. But half of your time will be spent on a new role under the guidance of an experienced Principal Designer / CDM Coordinator.
The practice uses Revit to a high standard.

Principal Designers in the North of England earn between £45,000 - £60,000 as permanent employees and can earn up to £75,000 as contractors. There is a growing demand for this position across the disciplines as well as a specialist consulting industry that is growing quickly.
You get to break up your days, break up your workload, do something interesting and different.

Time to diversify without losing your current skillset? Get niche set of skills that will make you more valuable to employers? Open a door to new career possibilities? Make more money!
